We live diversity
Diversity has various dimensions for us. For one thing, different perspectives and areas of expertise are what help make us so successful together. And secondly, as a company that deals with the digital reality of millions of people’s lives every day, we also want to reflect the entire diversity of our pluralistic and modern society.
Our understanding of diversity – a matter of course
Our employees all experience the same appreciation and equal opportunities irrespective of nationality, ethnic origin, religion or ideology, gender and gender identity, age, disability or sexual orientation and identity. We aim to find the area of work and the function for each employee which enables them develop their own unique potential and talents as fully as possible. We are convinced that the diversity of our colleagues lays the foundation for creativity and productivity. In order to unlock this potential for new ideas and innovation, we promote diversity and equal opportunities with a range of different formats.
In order to do justice to as many dimensions of diversity as possible, we’ve set up our own diversity project team, consisting of colleagues already familiar with the topic from previous development programs, as well as people from HR and our Sustainability Team. We meet regularly to plan activities and share ideas on current projects and topics. Our goal is to establish and promote diversity issues even more in the company, despite the fact we already live an open and appreciative corporate culture. We address the various diversity dimensions as part of our focus activities, such as gender diversity, unconscious bias, and gender-sensitive language.
In addition, as an affiliate of United Internet AG and a signatory of the Diversity Charter, we are committed to the holistic approach of “Diversity and Inclusion” and organized our first Diversity Days in May 2021 with keynote speeches, interactive workshops, book presentations, and numerous other instructional activities.
