We’re looking for an experienced Product Analyst to help us deliver high-quality features to more than 43 million users at GMX and WEB.DE. You will be part of the product organization and join a multidisciplinary team, working closely with product managers, data scientists and software developers.
As a Product Analyst, you will own all aspects of the data landscape pertaining to the digital home of our users. You will play a crucial role in deriving learnings about current product reach, performance, and quality, as well as drive insights that lay the foundation for future features and smart assistants based on email data.
- You have a deep understanding of our product and the corresponding data that is available within the company, including their quality, architecture, location, optimal ways to access and where they are already used.
- You consult on future experimentation designs and roadmaps e.g. by performing exploratory analysis, analyzing results and summarizing key take aways.
- You own the key metrics that guide the team in delivering high-quality features to our users.
- You translate questions from the business into analytics objectives and requirements to expand our data landscape and tooling.
- You extract actionable insights through analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets that are derived from both frontend pixel tracking and backend events.

- Your qualifications which inspire us
You have several years of experience using analytics to drive key business decisions. You enjoy working with and combining multiple heterogeneous data sets and have a proven track record of working independently to obtain all the data needed to answer business questions. You are able to distill complex data analyses into compelling storytelling for executive leadership.
- You have a Bachelors’ degree or above in quantitative discipline: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- You have significant experience with SQL and advanced analytics as well as proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language; Python is a plus.
- You have a deep understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation design, and common analytical techniques like A/B testing, data warehousing and data visualization.
- You have a solid background in running multivariate experiments to optimize a product or revenue flow.
- You have a strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.
