Are you passionate about Java and would you like to develop for more than 43 million customers? Then support our agile team of software developers, QA engineers and operations engineers by driving forward the planning, implementation and integration of our central infrastructure for data storage for the consent management of the WEB.DE, GMX and mail.com brands. In our area, we also act as a technical service provider for external B2B customers and thus contribute to the data protection-compliant processing of personal data in Europe.
Our systems process several billion requests every day and we therefore place the highest demands on availability and scalability.
- You design and develop highly scalable, high-performance and fail-safe software that is operated in our own geo-redundant high-performance data centers.
- You will develop Java services for our Consent Management infrastructure using Spring Boot, Kubernetes and Cassandra, among others.
- You will carry out extensive integration and load tests to ensure the availability of our systems and services.
- You develop new features and advise colleagues from other teams on the integration of our systems.

Have you completed a technical degree or comparable training? Are you interested in becoming part of an agile team and developing central components that are operated in our private cloud? - You have several years of professional experience in development with Java and Spring Boot and are familiar with the Spring ecosystem.
- You develop secure and modern web services using Spring Boot, Spring, Spring Security and Java 17.
- Ideally, you also have good knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, Apache Cassandra and Kafka.
- You regularly keep up to date with new trends and technologies.
- You enjoy learning new things, like to take on responsibility, are a good communicator and work with precision.
